Artist Statement
Electronic images of work you'd like to be considered. File format must be JPG, GIF or PNG and each file must be no larger than 1 meg in size. Idaeally they will be no longer than 600 pixel in any direction and be 72 dpi. This is fine for inial online viewing. Please zip (file compress) multiple files into one file. Name the file ArtSubmission_YOURLASTNAME_YOURFIRSTNAME.zip
For each work included in the submission, please list the following:

Hanging Requirements: All work must be READY to hang on a wire hook gallery system. Simply the work must have a wire strung across the back at the proper height is if it were going to be placed on a nail. But NO nails go into the walls.
Media accepted:
All media is accepted including oil, acrylic, pastel, water colors, photography, collage, natural material, found object, recycled materials, glass, plastic, ceramics, steel, bronze, etc.
Limitation: If your work needs power to operate, we do not provide access to power outlets. During exhibition it may be battery powered, so long as an accessible on/off switch is available when hung. If sound sound is incorporated there must be a volume control accessible while hung.
Topics accepted:
We accept all topics and strongly encourage diverse spirituality, social reflection and environmental reflection.
Limitation: This space is first and foremost a place of spirituality and worship and secondly the space is rented out regularly to non-church groups who's clients are children and families who are not necessarily members of the UUCLB church. It therefore cannot accept any nudity or sexually suggestive artworks. Nudity is defined as the female breasts and the area covering from belt to upper thigh of male or female. Any exposure of the torso regardless of subjects gender will require a committee to approve.
